Was working a field day before yesterday and out of the blue when I raised the cultivators they just stayed up and would not go down. It was late so I just left it and returned yesterday after some research and searching. When I started it up the 3pt worked. So, I figured I would continue in order to have it malfunctioned before I began diagnosing. It took approx. half hour and it did it again. I shut it down and took off the right cover. I put my hand on the linkage and with slight forward pressure the unit dropped. I started it up and working up and down I found that in order for it to malfunction I needed to leave the lever up. As I watched the pump seemed to actuate the linkage to the rear and when it would stick up was when it seemed to not relieve the pump pressure. If I took a long instrument and ever so slightly put forward pressure on the linkage it would drop.
