3 point lift

When running, have right side cover open and with flash light (don't put hands inside) look in as you operate the lift. You probably will see oil spewing out of top cylinder. Most likely the cylinder is leaking and will need attention. You could try replacing the two stand pipe O-rings and see if that helps as that doesn't require removing the top cover. But that probably won't fix the problem. Top cover is heavy, not impossible to remove but difficult for one person to install without a lift (it's a finger pinch-er). The hydraulic lifts on rollers work great for this. Another option is just to live with it. It probably works great when running. Don't shut the tractor off with the lift up around pets or children.

my old TO35 does not go down that fast,
but I never shut the motor off until I let the load down, I do not want the tractor to have to carry the load.

it was designed from new to go down and take the load off the tractor, but not that fast.

my old D14 AC would hold the load up for weeks when you shut the motor off, but it was a different system.
