Actual differences between a 35 and a 50

Hi, It is my understanding that MF35's and 50's share the same engine but that the 50 is bigger and heavier. What parts between these models interchange? What parts are different? Are the transmission and hydraulic parts interchangeable? Thank you

(quoted from post at 18:00:30 07/09/17) The front bolster and axle, the steering box is different. I believe the rest is the same.

Isn't the F-40 and the MH 50 the same tractor more or less, except for some sheet metal differencies.

My feeling is that the 50 is more like a 65 (not saying identical parts) in the front end, with the 35 engine and rear end.

As for the hydraulics, all these, the 35, 40, 50, 65 will have more or less the same hydraulics. Minor differencies, for example has the 65 stronger lift arms, lift rods, and lower link arms, and a little different setup for the top link connection. And the 65 has different axle trumpets and shafts and brakes.

Transmission is supposed to be very much the same, except the 65 has a higher speed on the transmission parts.

I had a bad rear end on a 35 and swapped it with a rear end from a 50. There is a difference in the hydraulic pumps with the 50 having a higher pressure relief valve. But don't take my word for it, I lie some and don't know what I am talking about the rest of the time. :)
Also the axle housings were different, one had the six bolt setup and the other was 12.
