So today I am dragging. it's now 4 AM and I woke up an hour ago. Yesterday was the completion of another year upon this earth and I thank God for his allowing me to do so. My wife got involved in this project and even gave me the green light on doing it. Together we spent about 15 hours bringing home a New Idea, Model 112A Manure Spreader, Britsh Leyland Model 154(?) tractor, offset rototiller, brush hog, both unknown to me at this time brand and a Fergy TO-20 My last load out the gate and the owner is saying he has a PHD and a 7' back blade for another $500.
These trips included a sticking brake caliper coming down the mountain and by the time we got to town the brakes overheated enough that it got interesting. we made the second trip after things got cooled off and once that load got home, noticed a leaky rear axle seal. So we dropped the camper on truck #2 and went back for the final trip. One hour drive time each way without traffic. HA! The first run had no traffic, after that was all traffic. The fergy looks real good and the brush hog needs to find it's way onto it very soon and hope for a late season sale, God be willing. The manure spreader has two different sized tires on it and needs at least one floor board replaced. Don't know too much else, I am still tired and about to go back to bed. The Leyland tractor starts and runs and not much else. The 3 point arms are a disaster, it leaks oil like a sieve, the steering is shot one wheel bearing is totally hosed and maybe a front spindle....That thing will probably sit here for the winter. The fergy has a leak back by the PTO, maybe a seal? sticky clutch and brakes are weak.
They work, but not great. Back to bed for me, you good people has a pleasant day. Good night.
