Got the oil changed in the old TO35
However it was not without a little drama,
Drove tractor until motor was operating temperature
Drained oil,
Removed oil filter canister
That is where the drama starts, trying to remove the filter from the canister, clamped the filter bolt in the vice, then pulled tugged on the canister trying to get the filter off the bolt, finally it cam off, but so did the spring and flat washer and they when flying into the shop,
I found the spring but not the washer, reassembled the filter and put it back on,
When I started to put the plug back in the crankcase there was the washer laying blow the drain hole,
So I took filter off again and installed the flat washer, hopefully in the right order, spring, washer, filter,
Reinstalled filter, added oil, tractor ran like a top, so far no leaks,
Just more drama than I like and the filter is very hard to get out of the canister, maybe I am doing it wrong, I use Napa gold filters 1010 I think,
Hopefully job done for another year,
