getting ready to install my rebuilt cylinder head on my new to me to20. any body run washers under the cyl head stud nuts? my head had several cracks in it that have just been repaired, was thinking some grade 8 washers may help a little. also what spark plugs are you fellas having good luck with?

Hey, Glenn, good to see your post - I was wondering how your project was coming along.

The Parts Book calls for washers under the cylinder head nuts. I don't have my book at hand, so I can't tell you the size until this evening. I'm sure someone else will be able to help. I used Grade 8 washers.

Most on the board recommend Autolite 3116 plugs, which is what I'm currently running. The previous owner had installed NGK AB6, which are also popular.

well now i know why there were cracks in the head........no washers. i run the 3116 plugs in my farmalls too so i have extras!!! thanks for the info!!!

All of the head nuts on my TEd have washers.
