An FE35, the exhaust is on the left, so not a Standard diesel? Perkins? 2 tractors has a couple like this.

Massey Ferguson 35? Made in England? Perkins Diesel, like Tony sez. It has the Massey Ferguson triangle logo on the front.

Looks like its a grill guard that is folded down. First picture has brackets that appear to have slots.

I thought a pom would have chimed in by now, but yes, the iron laying down is a grill guard that lets the bonnet/hood fall out of the way. I 'think' those slotted frames are part of a 'banana frame' manure loader. The arms pivot on the rear axle, the cylinders ride down into those slots????? There are some you tube videos of people using this banana loaders
