I finally summoned enough nerve to dig into my tractors hydraulic issues. I was expecting to find a stuck control valve. The rear end contained about an inch of dirt, with a thin layer of water over the solids and about 10 or 12 litres of diarhea. The control fork is not hooked to anything at the bottom. I have never done this sort of repair before and I will be working alone. Do I drop the pump or try to see it by going through the PTO shaft hole? I have heard that pulling the shaft is pretty easy.I can't see the valve through the side openings but then I might not know it if I was staring at it. The relief valve is obstructing my view.
