First tractor my Dad ever bought was a Speedex, and he bought a belly mower and disc for it. The disc was single-gang, about 6' long and you could put concrete blocks on it. Can't say it ever made much difference in that hard, dry SE Texas soil!

we have two acres here that we bought in 86. I mowed three times with a push mower then purchased a used rider. was much younger than.
