nice weekend tractor workout

picture of my grandson who lives in the city,
has driven the tractor around in the barnyard before,

this was his first time actually working the tractor, breaking up one of my truck patch strips.
he was having a great time.

proves: you can take the boy off the farm, but it hard to get the farm out of the boy,

only one thing wrong with this picture, something I did many years ago that I wish I had not done,
in my infinite wisdom to be like my neighbors who own MF
I painted the old 1957 TO35 Ferguson red. someday I had planned to repaint it back to the original colors but at this point in my life that is not going to happen.
maybe someday the boys will do that, but they never saw the old tractor in its original colors, all they ever knew was red.
it looked like this attached picture when dad first bought it.

this tractor has the optional fold bumper guard, nice touch,
or course my tractor does not have this super cool front bumper guard that the tractor in the picture has, fold away guard so you can lift the hood without hitting the bumper guard.
