Value of a Sherman combo

What is the value of a Ferguson Sherman combo or a Ford Sherman
combo made to fit?
So many were put in Fords but I don't see many in the Fergusons.

Ford combo will not fit the Fergy.
Price should run $750 to about $1200

The ford combo will fit if you do a little work to it. I pulled this ford combo out of a TO30 years ago. Note that the top cover was adapted for the stater rod and in the next photo the back was shaved to fit the case.

I don't think hupp ever made a cable system. Can't use it on the combo. Don't think hupp made a step down only a step up. Never seen a step up hupp with the cable.

my neighbor had a TO-20 that had cable set up. what could that have been. only Ferguson I have seen with a aux. trans.

Dan,
Just wonder how many ferguson shermans are out there and what kind of value it adds over the ford combo. A friend of mine bought a ferguson sherman to put in his NAA. He asked me what do I have to change to get it in. I told him ferguson sherman to ford nothing. But ford sherman to ferguson that a different story.
I should put the sherman back together and sell it to maybe someone who wants to put it back in a ferguson.

Hupp made a combo over/under drive- http://www.oldfordtractors.com/huppad.htm
Link is to a dorF site, but I've seen them on Fergusons.
