I am looking for someone (hopefully in the northeast Ohio area) who wants my TO20. SN is in the 10,000 range so it's an old one. It had a run-in with a 4 foot diameter tree that came down in a storm earlier this year. I don't know if the moderators will reject this but it's not an ad. I just want to give it to someone who could maybe restore another TO20 from what is left.
Here's some data about what's good about it:
1. The gas tank is new; installed last summer. It suffered minor damage by the tree yet is holding the gas that was in there.
2. The carburetor is new. 1 year old.
3. I redid the head at the end of last year. The engine has maybe 1 hour on it since done. Unfortunately, the coolant return broke off, so what is worth anything is the new valve kit that is on it.
4. The temperature gauge was also replaced.
5. The exhaust pipe/muffler is new.
In case you are looking for a specific part:
1. The left fender is damaged but may be able to be straightened.
2. The right fender is fine.
3. The dash is toast as is the hood.
The steering wheel is also new, sustained some damage, but may be able to be straightened further, I got it halfway back just by pulling up on it.
General condition of the tractor as of last September was good. I had it scheduled for bottom end work either this summer or next.
After nearly thirty years of owning this tractor, I have now moved all the way up to a '53 TO30. I have what I hope will be my last tractor and just want the value of these parts, if any, to go toward restoring another one.
