Looking for a head gasket for a 1956 tef

I am in Australia and have just about given up on unseizing my TEF with lube and patience.
I can see some head gasket kits for sale on ebay that say TEF Industrial engine TEF 20C
Are these suitable for my engine. Serial number is 507592.
I just dont want to pull the head without a replacement gasket on hand.

Got a feeling you're going to need more than a head gasket...

Thinking the TEF uses wet sleeves, (could be wrong though) that are held down by the head. With the head removed the sleeves are subject to unseating from the block, causing sediment from the water jacket to get under the seal and start a leak.

Bad news is, removing the liners and resealing them is more work.

Good news is the entire sleeve/piston assemblies can be removed, freed up, or replaced.

I would do the tear down first, decide if it is feasible to repair, order everything at once to reduce shipping costs.

Thank you, yes we do have sparex here. Having the part number will definately help.
I was looking at the cheap options on ebay just to try and save a dollar. I think you are right when you say its a wet sleeve engine same as the TED I have, also right when you say there will probably be more wrong than 1 quick fix. Im waiting for penetrating fluid to get into the rusted bolts so that I can take the loader frame off and improve access to the engine, but it all looks straight and complete under the valve cover.

Ha Mike, your into it. Wagga tractors, there on ebay, only talks via email, simon is the bloke, he knows his stuff, not the cheapest around but he QA's his stuff. Other than that call bepco, may need a ABN and even better prices, there Head office is out of brissy, I saved a couple of hundred on a rebuild kit.

Bepco are generally better than sparex and bareco, but all of it has bad QA, but just return it and tell em it crap ( nicely of course)

Thanks for that I did not not know about Bepco, when I saw them mentioned I assumed it was a typo for bareco.
I will look for their web site.
I have given my self a time limit to let the engine sit and soak, by getting an inspection camera on line.
Once it arrives I will stop waiting for the soak solution to work and tear the Tef down.
