ISO TO35 Lift Cover

Unfortunate the lift cover on my to35 has finally failed. I believe its from a previous failure the previous owner didn't repair correctly. I would like to find a used cover matching the casting marks of my old one. I will be looking for a local welder to help with the case repair. Any suggestions would be grateful. Thanks Drew

Shouldn't be too terribly hard to find a good cover.

For the price of a new (and proper by the serial #) pressure relief valve, it would be valuable insurance against that happening again!

Thanks, you are probably right that it would be a good idea to also replace the pressure relief valve. I have been searching this internet and calling everywhere I can find with no luck. I am surprised no one has any suggestions of places to try.

(quoted from post at 04:52:44 04/24/17) There are 2 on Ebay, quite expensive though.

Did you search tractor salvage in your area?

I did see both the covers on eBay but they are very expensive and $150 shipping. I have been calling around to different salvage yards also with no luck.

I have found the culprit, it was like many people on this forum said. A adjustment wasn't made correctly and the lift arm was contacting the case. I have also found some more suspicious parts. Photos will follow.

I have ordered a cover and found a local welder who will weld up the case. He said he will be welding it with nickel rod and can do it with everything assembled and with the tractor on the trailer. I will redrill and tap or helicoil the mounting hole after he welds it up. Hopefully everything goes well and I will post updates once I start the repairs and reassembly.
