To20 hydraulic problems

Hello guys, 1949 to20. Pin fell out of the control arm and landed between a piston and the housing. It broke a piston. Rebuilt the pump. Reinstalled the pin. Before I tore it apart the lift was stuck in the up position. Filled it up with fresh 90 weight oil gl1 oil. The 3 point lifted right away again even with the control all the way down. All linkages are free. The lift arm moves almost too easy, it's very floppy. The fat part of the control valve moves freely. Is there anything else behind the control valve? I saw on a couple diagrams that there could be a long rid behind it? Any input would be appreciated. And no the spring is not broken.

That fergy does not have power down hydraulics. If it had power down, you would not have all that flop.
Now if the 3 PT is flopping as it goes up, I would say your sucking air into the system. The system does not
have the piston secured to the actuating rod. You can raise it manually without pressure. Stand on the three
point. Raise it. Does it pick you up and hold you?
What problem?

when you say behind the control valve.

the long rod vibrates and is supposed to keep the valve from sticking. If the he lift rises independent of the control lever position the valve is either stuck in the lift position or something in the linkage is not allowing the valve to move. Is the control fork attached to the end of the control valve?

When my fergy lift arms were stuck in the up position their was a tiny bit of crud on the mating surface of the valve even after I though it was all perfectly clean. It caused the valve to stick so hard I had to free it with a brass drift. Very unhappy about that move till I reassembled and the lift worked properly. I can only find a before picture.
