Finish Mower Size

Can I run a 6' finish mower behind my TO30? I use a 5' brush hog and have zero issues and wonder if the light grass and the extra foot would be ok.

Yes, it will work great. The six foot mower will cover the tracks real well. Just watch out rounding a building, etc., as the mower may clip a corner
that the tractor negotiates just fine, especially if you don't use stabilizer bars.

Thanks for the reply, more worried about trees, but good point on buildings the mrs would be hacked if I hit her new house.

6ft. will be fine. The main use of my TO30 is mowing my yard with a 6ft king kutter finish mower. Mine is a side discharge, but when I buy a new one I will go with a rear discharge.

I run a 6' behind my 8n. Your TO30 might even have a couple more ponies so the HP shouldn't be a problem. I would also suggest a rear discharge and 4 gauge wheels

I ran my TEA-20 Ferguson on a Finishing Mower......I was not pleased with the ONLY four speed transmission...and lack of live PTO. . I upgraded to a MF FE-35 X with six speeds ahead, and Live PTO.
