on the to-20 throttle, my new to me tractor was missing the throttle linkage that runs from the long rod from the dash control down to the governor arm. from the parts book it looks like #13,#29, #15. i did find a post with some dimensions on the missing parts i need to fabricate. on part #29, it looks like the lenght of the spring tube is 4 3/4 inches long. any idea on the diameter? also, any idea on the spring size and length for #13? i need to come up with some type of tubing to make #29, or possibly try and bore out a bolt on the lathe to make the part. any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance. btw, did get the woods rm600 on the tractor yesterday and did a little mowing, my home-made solid linkage left a lot to be desired!!

Parts book? Really?? 13 is a no good number. 15 is a Governor linkage rocker and 29 is an oil seal.
How about a SHOP MANUAL? The SHOP MANUAL shows 13 being a spring, 15 is a Throttle rod and 29 is a Throttle control plunger.
You can actually go on flea bay and get a copy of a parts manual to avoid confusion. It also has a better blow up illustration of the parts that need attention.
Your 13 is actually a 22. Your 15 is actually a 19. Your 29 is actually a 21.
22 has a real part number of 180 088 M1*******Spring, Plunger to Lever
19 has a real part number of 187 567 M1*******Rod, Governor Lever Arm
21 has a real part number of 180 093 M1******* Plunger, Throttle Control

You can fab the 19 and 21. Those are screw together parts that might need adjustment in the future for spring tension adjustment of 22.
Your best bet might be to contact people parting Ferguson's TO-20/30 on flea bay currently and see if they might have your parts. Oh yeah. Get a real parts manual also.

sorry , the numbers i got were from a post someone put on this forum in the archives. they had scanned a page from a book and those were the numbers in the diagram. oh well, i guess i will just wing it.

Winging it might not be as beneficial as locating fergy parts sellers currently on flea bay and asking if they have those parts.

Try Vermont tractor parts. His name is David Shea. He parts out a lot of Fergusons and may have it on the shelf. Or try Ferguson Enthusiasts of North America on Facebook. Check out that site for a lot of Fergie info also.
