I am in the middle of a to30 rebuild, the gasket kit includes 5 packages (4 labeled with the same part number) OF STRING GASKET, what are these for? thank you,
 
String is for rear main. It's for the block that holes the crank in place. Pack it into holes on each side after placing new bearing.If you don't remove crank you will not need it unless you have oil leaking.
