vented or non vented

The parts book for my TO20 does not specify whether or not the fuel cap should be a vented or non vented cap. Both are offered for sale here, but which one? I previously bought a non vented cap, but now wondering if I wasted money on wrong part. Anyone have info ?

Vented. You have a gravity feed fuel system. Non-vented would create suction and your fuel would stay in the
tank. Wife's Fergy has a small hole in dead center.

Take a look at the non vented one, possibly you can drill a small hole to vent it.

I recently bough a vented cap, box said vented, cap said vented, it wasn't...

Just drilled a hole under the cover, works fine.

Got a pic? Did you drill it in the center. The one I have looks like it should be vented but it's not, and I want to get this all right.

I drilled it on the underside, through the side of the part that locks to the tank. That way water can't get in.
