I have a 54 85mm standard up in the Yukon Canada right now we're getting 0 c at night and 8 c during day I have a 10w30 for running her in the winter months we're we get - 40 but I didn't like the oil pressure I bumped it up to 20w50 as recommended and wow just cranking it over I'm getting 20 psi but now it's farting and running on a few cylinders should I just put a block heater on her or mix a little gas in the oil trick I learned from my aviation days or put a 15w40 in it

Word of caution. Syn oils run a bit more detergent in them. Good reason it last's longer than conventional oil.
Great for cleaning out seals and gaskets of varnish that has built up over the few years that machine has been running. either get that block heater or a thinner oil. Now that sludge your running is starving the bearings at initial cold start and your doing more damage than good.
