TO20 starter bolts

Still repairing a neglected 1950 Fergie from previous owner, who was the original owner. I'm looking for the bolts that hold the starter together. The rear cap is trying to come off and spit everything out. One of the bolts has had the head rusted away, so there's only the one holding it together. I want to keep the original starter, as it works, and can be rebuilt rather easily at my son in laws auto shop. Anyone have a broken starter or those bolts lying around? I'd love to talk $ for them . It's important to me to keep as many of the orginal.parts with the tractor as I can.

If there is a starter/generator/alternator repair shop near you, they probably have some in the bone pile, free for the asking.

Real "hard" to find, made in USA Delco Remy starter you probably have. It could be worse. You could have Lucas.
Welcome to the dark side. Your son in laws auto shop, if he rebuilds them on a frequent basis will have them.
Most auto shops have gotten away from component rebuilding due to the cost of labor involved. Cheaper to buy it
rebuilt by someone else that to spend shop time fixing it.

Do you happen to know if they are a special size, or are they that common of a bolt that they are found in other starters? Just want to get as much info as I can before I take the starter back off. As of today, I will have a hand crank, thanks to fast shipping from Yesterday's Tractors, so I will be able to get by without using it for now, but would like to have everything fixed the right way.

Looks like 53 and 54 if that is the rear external bolt. If I'm seeing it right, the one bolt head rusted completely off. I'm sure the son in law can get the rest of the bolt out. While I'm at it, I figured I'd have him rebuild it. Is there a kit that has complete rebuild? Or do I have buy everything seperately? 6v original starter, if I hadn't mentioned it before. Just completed the redo of the 12v conversion, that was a mess.

53 and 4 are the mounting bolts that hold the starter to the tractor. I believe, not shown is bolt, illustration
number 64 which is the through bolt. You DO have a Ferguson parts manual, correct? You can find them on EBay,
from copies to originals. I have one of each.
A seller on fleabay who has a store name of triodiode, also a prior Fergy owner will sell you the windings and
what ever parts you need to have it rebuilt.
