To 20 oil pressure?

So I had the new to me fergie out running anound the farm today, pretty muddy and didn't want to get a bigger tractor stuck. Anyhoo, when cold
I have 25 psi oil pressure just above idle. After running a while about an hour, the pressure gradually drops and at about half throttle I get 10 psi
steady. Oil level is full and the oil is clean. P owner did change the oil. Is the oil pump serviceable ? On the farmalls, the lower oil pump cover
wears, and a little machining gets it back in service.

Pump is repairable, but more likely is worn main and rod bearings. It will run a long time like it is, they never had as high oil pressure as some IH models did.

Do you know what oil is in it? It may be too thin.

Most run 15w 40 diesel oil. That is a good weight and additive pack for the old flat tappet engines.

Having 10 PSI at 1000 RPM is acceptable. Having 10 PSI at higher RPM is not great but that is a low performance engine, built to survive. Unless it gets worse or starts knocking, I wouldn't be concerned.

Don't know what's in it, but I will change it out with rotella and see what happens before I start twisting wrenches.

It could be a stuck open relief valve, a worn pump, or worn bearings or all the above. My To-30 runs a consistently at 25-27 psig regardless of oil temperature. Spec says that with the engine at low idle at operating temperature, the pressure should be > 15psig.
