I need to know how to adjust my valves. I have finished my rebuild and I am not sure the order to adjust valve train. I have # 1 cylinder TDC now what valves do I set before I rotate and set the rest?

I prefer this way, pistons 1 and 4, then 2 and 3 are at TDC at the same time. When 1 and 4 are up look at the rocker arms and find the pair that are on overlap opening, exhaust closing and intake opening. Example # 4 rockers are on overlap, set both on #1. Turn engine 1/2 turn, now 2 and 3 are up with 2 on overlap so set #3. Turn 1/2, 1 and 4 up, with 1 on overlap so set #4, turn 1/2, 2 and 3 up, 3 on overlap so set #2.

that's what I was looking for thankyou very much. Will there be a ho;e in the fly wheel on the half turn also or just watch the valves on the half turns?

Hole in the flywheel is at 1-4 only, I watch the arms..
