hydraulic loader pump shaft seal

I have a "52 Ferguson TO-20 with an aftermarket
loader system that uses a Parker hydraulic gear
pump. This has started leaking and I need to
replace the shaft seal but I cannot find the part.
The pump has three numbers on it: 656876,
H77X3027, & MD665004. After doing internet
searches I found that TISCOE has the pump and
installation kit under item number L827-10X. MSC
has identified the Parker item number for the seal
as 656941. Can anyone help me find a source of
supply for this seal? I"ve been searching the web
and making phone calls for three days as well as
visiting a couple of hydraulic suppliers.
 
(MSC has identified the Parker item number for the seal as 656941.) Take this and all the other info you have to a GOOD auto parts store. They can find that 656941 seal and get the sizes and match it up to another brand if they don't have the Parker in stock.
 
I wanted to update you guys on my search for a part. Since I live in a small town, very rural, I have not been able to go to a GOOD auto parts store to follow up on Richard L"s advice, but will next trip to the city. In the meantime, I"ve continued doing internet searches and found that the 656941 part number for this seal is associated with a NSN number--the numbers used by our military suppliers. I requested a quote from one supplier and, no joke, they quoted a price of $500.00 for one seal! I found it at another supplier for $13.40, but I need a $50 minimum order. I hope I will have better luck at the auto store in the big city.
 
I came upon this thread I started and feel bad that I never posted how this search ended. I don't like it when a thread is started, questions asked, advice given, but the final solution isn't posted. So my apologies for not posting sooner--like 3 1/2 years ago. :oops:

A friend of mine referred me to his friend that works at a hydraulic shop in Seattle. I took my pump there and he cleaned and rebuilt the pump and charged me $50. Haven't had problems with it since then.
