I replaced the original front spindles on my TO-20 with the aftermarket version a few years ago.
There is some wear on the original spindles, and I read on the YT board that they can be welded/built up, then turned back down to spec. I didn't have that capability, so I just went with aftermarket.
I'm doing some cleanup around the garage, and those old spindles are going away with the scrapper, unless someone wants them, for the cost of shipping. They have the "TO" part number cast in them, if you're a stickler for originality.
