Hi Folks
I was putting the rings on my new Bare-Co pistons and got to thinking that these pistons will take 4 rings only which leads me to did they not come with 5 ring pistons like the TE20. Just a thought????

Any TEA-20's with the Standard Engine that I've been involved with, are as per pictures including the new pistons:

Pay attention to the orientation of the Piston assemblies, Connecting Rods, and installation as per pictures:

JDD what book do you get these pictures from. I see you post a lot of these to help others. I have owners manuals, service manuals but nothing for complete overhauls or major work, I need that book for a TO30 thank you, john

50% of the PICTURES are taken from an ORIGINAL FERGUSON PARTS BOOK, 50% of the PICTURES are taken from an ORIGINAL FERGUSON TEA-20 SERVICE MANUAL
The Parts Book was printed in the USA and covers Fergusons,T0-30,T0-20,TE-20 AND TE-A20... PARTS ONLY;
I Located Two of these Parts Books on e-bay and purchased both of them:ORIGINAL FERGUSON TEA-20 SERVICE MANUAL:

Here is the IDENT. info: on the Parts Book:
FERGUSON PARTS BOOK:

The ORIGINAL FERGUSON TEA-20 SERVICE MANUAL was also purchased off e-bay:
The BLUE ORIGINAL FERGUSON TEA-20 SERVICE MANUAL is available from Australia:available on e-bay:
The GREEN ORIGINAL FERGUSON TEA-20 SERVICE MANUAL(Re-print) was purchased off e-bay and was sent to me from ENGLAND:

The thing to NOTE about the GREEN ORIGINAL FERGUSON TEA-20 SERVICE MANUAL(Re-print)and the BLUE ORIGINAL FERGUSON TEA-20 SERVICE MANUAL, these books are specific to the FERGUSON TRACTORS BUILT in ENGLAND.....Specifically with the ENGLISH STANDARD ENGINE, both the Gasoline and Diesel Engines:

However, the HYDRAULIC 3 point section of the SERVICE MANUALS do apply to the USA made T0 30...at least on any topics that I have been involved with:

JDD it greatly does. I have a 1951 To30. Made in the good ole USA. How are the repo quality books? Are they clear? Some I have purchased are very grainy and have been photo copied a million times, not the greatest IMHO
thanks, John
