Has anyone knowledge of how best to fit the felt seal. I was supplied two quite long lengths and have seen in a video that they could be cut into shorter lengths and feed/pushed into groove.
Your thoughts on the this matter.

When you Torqued the main Bearing caps to 90>100 ft. lbs. what was the bearing to crankshaft clearance?

One tip is to compress the seal in a vice for a few hours before fitting . It allows you to fit it easily and it will then expand well once in . Don't skimp on whatever sealer you use and don't forget the ends . Superglue can be used to glue ends together if you want .
