Are the rims on a 1955 TO35 supposed to be silver or gray?

when I repainted my TO35 I painted the rims silver,
they were probably some type of galvanized color

but then again my TO35 was originally beige in color and I painted it red, so proper color combination had already left the building.

Silver Mist is the correct color. I can give you the mix number(shop) tomorrow if you want to have it mixed. If your not building for show aluminium color will work.
