Ferguson TO-20 brakes

My shop manual states that the brake shoe return springs, Secondary is black and the primary is blue. Mine don't have any color left on them. I do notice one is longer than the other and the longer one may be some what stronger. Would this be the Primary (blue) one?

I believe your correct. Do you know how to adjust those brakes when your done? Holding the pedals up, etc?

Yes Thanks Bruce. I've worked several Ford 8 and 9N's but this is my first Ferguson. They're some what similar.

9N, 2N, TO-20, TO-30 are very similar with a good amount of parts interchange and theory of operation.
The wife's TO-20 will get an 8N top cover and pump on it just to confuse people. I was thinking about remote hydraulics on it but changed my mind. Her Fergy has enough toys on it. I might get a hydraulic pump on it for live 3 Pt. hydraulics, but not this year. Already have enough on my plate and the time change is next weekend. Time to get busy. Winter is soon over and summer light never lasts long enough.
