throttle lever ball joint to-35

I think the problem is somehow the lever separated from the ball joint. I don't see any way to fix without taking the dash apart. I have done that twice in the past and as far as I am concerned it is nothing but a PITA.

I have wondered why this aux lever is welded to the stud that comes thru the cork assembly on one of my other 35's. I may look into the same solution.

Yep they're a pain, but only a few bucks for a new set. Get a kid with small hands and long skinny arms to do it for you.

$8.23 in YT's online shop here. IF.... that is the part that's broke...
parts- MF- 35- carb section- near the bottom is universal throttle linkage

I think behind the battery is room with the upper swivel and underneath for the washer mount.
