There is one oil seal on each axle on the TO 20. If yours are leaking look into putting "sure seals in" this site sells them.

Thanks, I saw the "Sure Seals" listed. Looks like they fit on the inside of bearing over the collar. Then where does the bearing get its grease unless you have to hand pack them. That won't keep the grease getting onto the brakes.n I think I need to replace the outer seals too.

The TO 30 has an inner and an outer, the TO 20 only has the inner. click on the link and there are 6 pages of reading. Not all of it is Ferguson so choose and pick.

Sure seals fit over the axle bearings. Need to be pre-packed with drum brake short fiber grease,
Chamfer the edges of the new seals, if not already done. 3' length of 3" ABS pipe will aid in installation.
Cap on end of pipe will also help. I did the wife's '20 and also sealed the paper seals with either #2 Permatex or Gray RTV in order to eliminate seepage at the backing plates to axle.

Thanks Richard, I'm also installing a Delco Remy 3 wire alternator. The alternator has wiring instructions but doe not state what gauge wire to use. I'd guess the wire from the battery power source should be a 10 Ga. What about the wire from the alternator that goes thru a ballast resister to the ignition switch and the short jumper that goes from terminal 2 to the bat. terminal on the alternator? can these be a smaller gauge wire?
