off topic,I have polaris 500 sportsman atv, cooloing system problem,it says its overheating,I put new radiator in,run machine says its over heating, radiator cap does not get hot, take cap off fluid is low but it isn't taking fluid from reservoir tank, why isn't radiator cap getting hot? why isn't it drawing antifreeeze from reservoir?where is antifreeze going?maybe thermostat?I don't understand where anti freeze is going,I don't see it on ground anywhere,I know this isn't tractor talk but I know you all are good at this, please help.

I have traced down hard to find leaks by using a UV Dye that is compatible with the antifreeze. Using the glasses and uv light the
leak will glow.

These water cooled machines need to be run on snow that is kicked up into the tunnel to provide the cooling to the radiator. If you have been
on heavy packed snow/ice or road shots with nothing coming up to the tunnel there will be a chance of overheating. Happened to me a bunch
of years ago with a ski doo 500 packed snow and and some road travel. Just found a field to run it through and cooled it off with fresh snow
into the tunnel
