Im guessing somce these are sheet metal doesnt seem many around. I see the ocassional one on ebay but pricey and not best shape.
Anyone make there own or a source of new ones?
Seems shld be easyish to make but not sure on dimensions.

Yes, they are sheetmetal.

Unless you have access to sheetmetal fab equipment, it would be a rather difficult build, at least it would be for me!

You would just about have to have a pattern to go by. Clearances are close!

I don't know of an aftermarket source, probably Ebay is going to be your best source. If you see where someone is parting one out, even if they don't list the fan shroud, they may have it if you ask.
 
Check out ferguson enthusiasts on Facebook. Dedicated to ferguson, I just saw one on there. You are correct most are beat up and not in the
best shape for the $80 or so they always seem to be asking.
 
I won't say what I paid the the wife's TO-20 but I have seen them down around 20 or 30 bucks also. I think I paid the highest amount ever for one. 80 bucks was close. Then I passed that number desiring that her new rblt engine not overheat for any reason. I am probably the fool that set that precedent of a price. You can always contact the seller if the item gets no bids and make an offer.
