Hydraulic control lever

Hi found this metal label which currently I have rust primed, it would suggest as does the manual that it is possible to slip a pin through the control lever in the fully forward position so as to prevent it being moved. Does anyone have a pic or can explain as I see no hole in the lever for putting a pin through let alone a wedge.
Thanks

Thank you that pic. really helped. That item should have a chain on both ends in the holes. I will reply back shortly have to try to find what I want.

I am sorry I could not find what I wanted but I am sure the one end of the chain goes under the small square part on the, Control lever stop assembly. I hope someone can help you out better.

Charles thank you. I was trying to find it in the ytmag archives and not having much luck locating a similar picture.

Ah so that's what it looks like I thought it
was a pin. Don't suppose these are still
available but more importantly how does it
work in keeping the control lever from
moving, can you explain thanks.

It would be fairly simple to make one from a small piece of sheet steel , the difficult thing is the warning plate and you have that . Use chain from industrial lighting , any electrical wholesaler will have it and it is almost an exact match .
There is a stopper on the quadrant , or at least there should be , the slot fits on the lever the bent bit jams up under the stopper.
The whole thing is supposed to remind you that you have fixed stays fitted so you don't try to lift the rear and subsequently bend them.

OK think I got the picture makes sense now
that you point that I need the stopper as
well.
Much appreciated.
