Have an opportunity to get a near new tyre for my Fergy size is 11.2 x 28 on 10inch rim. My question is 10inch rim the standard rim size for this Tractor.

Is a 4ply tyre OK will it hold up to light work.

4 ply will be OK. Think that is whats on my tractor. If not a lot difference in price get the 6 ply.

A 4 ply will work for anything the tractor will do.

The advantage of a heaver ply is thorn resistance.

If that is a concern, the 6 or 10 will be better.

Gemplers. They sell tire liners. Last time I looked, they still were. Around 3/16 inch thick and extend about 1/2 way up the side wall. At least they did when I got a set for my tires about 2 years ago. That will effectively make your tires very puncture resistant.
