If the old Ferguson has been setting in the barn a few weeks not being used,
It might a good time to crawl under it and crack the sump drain plug, see if you get any water to run oil out,
It normally takes a few weeks for the water to settle to the bottom of the sump,
Each time you run the tractor you re mix the oil and water,
If possible drain it out into a clear glass container so you can see what drained out, it you have not done this in a long while or changed the
fluid, you might be surprised as how much water can accumulate in the sump,
Just a heads up, as your hyd pump is setting down in the bottom of the sump in whatever is down there!!!!!!!
