Ferguson one bottom plow

I just purchased this plow and was wondering what I have hear. I'm thinking a Ferguson 16?

Yes, appears to be an early ferguson one bottom plow. It appears to have the tag still on it inbetween the two bolts on the frame covered with paint. Remove the paint and you might still be able to see the numbers. Here is a photo of my 1940 ferguson one bottom plow. It's a 16". Yours is probably a 16" the 18" weren't made until much later. To measure put the end of your tape at the end of the landside and measure across to the end of the share. The number might not be exact because of the wear on the landside or share. My plow also has a smooth tailwheel with no rivets or bolts. I'm not sure if the scallop coulter was original to your plow. It could be a replacement. I know they were available for the later plows just not sure about the early ones.

Thank you. I plan on sand blasting and painting it. I think I'll paint primer gray then ford blue to match my New Holland Tractor. Could this have been the original,color?
