Looking for the recent 3 point plow thread

3 point plow that had the tire on the one side. The discussion was removing the center section to make it a 2
point. At least my feeble brain puts that thread on this board. Like I don't already have enough to do. . .
Thanks in advance!

It's nice to see you could answer your own question.. that's a good sign...
So what's the story of this plow thread? A bottom 2 feet or more apart from the other is not a good idea... unless you want you make a mess.
A 'gauge wheel' is not a thing my dysfunctional family would want at all. To just turn over the shallow roots of the last crop is one thing- to 'plow under' manure, compost, chemical fertilizers.... hay a foot deep ain't enough. Nana wants me to rototill with the backhoe! The topsoils in Europe and Asia are 3 or 4 feet deep, cause people been growing in the same spot for the last millennium.... or 2.... or 3? and to keep it rich and moist down there is a good thing. My gang in Alberta has topsoil 3 feet (OK, a metre) deep, "from 10.000 years of buffalo $#!t" .... so anything that can take the winter, can grow well up there. Gauge wheels are for petunia lovin' pretenders!!!

A semi-local ol' boy has a 3 bottom for $150. I might be late to the party, and I believe this is a similar
Ferguson unit as I saw on the thread. I should find out tonight as to what is going on and if I have a 270 mile
road trip coming up next week. I tend to think I will not be making that trip. However, God has the last word on
that and if you want to make God laugh, write your plans down with ink.
