Oil for te20

Hi, All,

Recently bought a small farm in Indiana; previous owners left a 49 te20. I want to change the oil, but I can't discover what blend to use. It gets down a bit below 0 sometimes in the winter, so maybe a 20/50?/ Help?"

I use straight 30W in my TO-30 always works good
if it get real cold I would use 10W30
or just a 20W

I do not know if the TE shows the oil on the engine tag or not but the TO does & it shows winter 20 and summer 30.

OK, just a straight 20 in winter, and a straight 30 in summer? No need for multi grades? Thanks for the advice.

I have a TO 30 and use 15/40 year round, and I live in Wisconsin. Never had a problem with it starting.
