I wondering if it is possible to home out sleeves and if so would standard rings be OK. Secondly is it possible to rebore sleeves and if so does that mean over size rings if thats possible. Then again it's probably just as easy to replace sleeves if hone does not remedy.
Thanks

New Rings in a worn Bore success is dependent on how "Worn" the sleeve or Bore is..

With enough Honing, you may get new rings to last a few years, but they cannot possibly last as long as NEW Pistons and a NEW Bore..

IF you have enough ridge at the top of the Cylinder to "Feel" ( after de-carbonizing) you have a decision to make..do it well or do it "Patched Up"..

The Grooves in the Pistons wear also and may be worn in a tapered fashion, and should be re-cut and spacer rings installed ( or wider rings used)..

In short..yep, you can "rebuild" it or OVERHAUL it..what do ya want.?
