Hi Folks
Going to remove the engine from my newly aquired TEA20 and want to make sure it is blocked underneath to take the weight once the motor is lifted clear Is it safe to block under the clutch bell housing area or should I block further back under the gearbox.
Thanks

Guide pins made from bolts with the heads cut off.
Bottle jack to hold up the engine.
Wedges in the front axle to keep the machine from tilting to the side.
Floor jack under the trans to slide the rear half back when you split the tractor.

Your jack point will support the machine,

I use a floor jack under the trans.housing and block the rear wheels, cherry picker on the engine and roll the front end forward away from the rear.
