hope this youtube opens for you,

someone was asking to see a Ferguson disc plow in operation

unfortunately this disc plow is not set up right in my book, as the rear of the plow is too high and not letting the rear disc guide blade go into the furrow deep enough to properly guide the plow.

but, it is a good example of how important a properly set rear disc blade is to the operation of a Ferguson disc plow. once this blade is worn down and will no longer hold the plow straight, the plow is nothing but a yard decoration.

this old plow is jumping all over the ground.

Yeah. He don't look a day over 15, so some one- a grown up who knows what he's doing- should have just walked along with it a while, and see that the top link is way too short, and the leveling box could get cranked a bit. 2 minutes of adjusting, it would have been a fine job. The scrapers grabbing all that straw don't help. I am happy with a stripped down horse drawn lookin plow

I tried to post a direct link, and my post ended up being blank. Tried to edit it, and editing is disabled.

Not sure what's going on...

Thanks for posting a direct link for me,
I have never learned how to do that

Just copy and paste with me, most times I get there just takes a few more steps,

There are other brand, later model disc plow videos, but few that show a old bullet frame model Ferguson disc plow in operation,

Just found this on my cellphone camera. In the middle is Verlin Tinder, formerly of Massey Ferguson, showing us fergie guys how to plow 'properly'....
And this is the Massey Harris 4 disc made for the MH333's and whatever else could pick it up, never mind pull it.

This was me plowing a badly overgrown spot last Sunday with my disc plow and my TO-20.

Field before the plow

And after the plow! I did not mow any of that down before plowing either. I plowed it as it stands.
