Ain't it tho? Nothing like realizing you did a perfect job -even if you didn't expect one!
Is that the one bottom you bought a couple weeks ago?
The plow looks- obviously is- adjust just right. The roll fell in the furrow just fine the whole row- heck whole plot.
And you did this on turf tires? That's a sign everything went very well.
I won't even mention the plow didn't have a rolling coulter... others will tell you about it.. and how necessary one is.....
So i'll just admire the way the mouldboard 'scoured' to a mirror finish.... you need a gold star sticker for acin' the test!!

Looks great Steve. No slippage with the turfs? I know it's been dry around here lately. Are you going to disc and cover crop? Or just let it sit as I'd over the winter? The freeze thaw helps break down the soil a bit.
I picked up the same ferguson one bottom last month. Came with a 1940 9n from original owner who bought the plow with the tractor new. I won't get to use it until the spring.
What's nice about the one bottom vs the two bottom is you get more seat time.

I hadn't had a plow around here for about ten years until I bought this one a little while ago. I am quite pleased with it.

I planned alfalfa in
the one garden. I'm going to let it go for a couple of years before I turn it under. The deer are in there like crazy. Plenty of bucks just not good enough to shoot. Should be very interesting in a couple of weeks when the rut starts.

Looking good. I just stepped in the house from plowing. You'll be ready for the plowing matches with Sam. I was running the 40 Ferguson with AO 12 two bottoms. It won't let me upload pics today.
