With regard to my Egad! thread (now on page 6), where can the Kevlar made clutch disc be purchased?

I picked mine up from a rebuilder. Look for a friction supplier in your area and be prepared to send them your core.

Thanks for the good suggestion. How critical is the recommendation for near perfect flywheel/pressure plate surfaces, and no stray oil, that I read about elsewhere, for the kevlar clutch?

I had mine all re-machined at the same time. No dry friction device, brakes, clutch etc, likes oil unless it is hydro-static. Those don't work well when dry.
