TO 30 electrical system - components question

Hi. Question: does the standard 6-volt TO30 electrical system include a starter solenoid? I am a novice learning by attempting to put together a TO30 that came to me in boxes and buckets. It last ran 15+ years ago and I am told that in the end, the previous owner for some reason was unable to start it.

I'm trying to assemble/wire the electrical components according to Fig 223 of the service manual. The disassembled tractor materials that I have included a solenoid but no voltage regulator.

I do have a voltage regulator now, but I don't see a solenoid on the schematic and I have not found mention of one in the manual. Any info, guidance or advice will be much appreciated. Thanks

No solenoid. It uses a heavy duty starter contactor actuated by the shift lever when in the "S" position.

In comparison Steve, you may be correct. I just cringe at the shipping costs. I do understand handling, packing in a box etc. Might have to figure out what else to get to reduce the shipping. I didn't see the gasket listed for underneath it. Should I just be prepared to make one when I switch it out if the one there is no good? Thank you,
