MF 99 loader

So I found a MF 99 loader that just came off a TO 35, wondering if this would fit on the 40 my friend has.
Thanks

Agh... no. Look in the Massey forum a dozen or so down -135 loader? beyond disaster? Same story. A loader off a 50 or 202, workbull, 150, yeah. The front 'basket' is not the same as on the 35. And about a foot longer from the axle to axle sort of thing.
And yous guys got to think about it- no sense buying top shelf hood ornaments or grill sections.... to put on a loader tractor... the first minor spill will be a major loss. And... no one will notice it as a nifty Ferguson F40 anymore anyway. Won't be a collector's item, just another machine to deal with snow....

Just my 2 cents...........well it's Canadian so maybe a small fraction of that.....the older ag tractors don't lend themselves well to being used as loader tractors. Oh it's been done and will be done again but if it's going to be used for any serious loader work you need three main things........power steering, a fairly heavy front axle and a LOT of weight on the back end. Otherwise it's an exercise in frustration.

I had the backhoe off my 202 this summer to rebuild the controls and tried to use it for some loader work.......after almost tipping it over and getting stuck on pretty much nothing, I just shut it down until I could get the backhoe back on. Even with a large assortment of "heavy things" I had kicking around the yard attached to the back, it still wasn't much fun to use.

Again, just my opinion but I'd look for something designed more as a loader than an ag tractor.

Now you got the opinion of an expert! If anyone on here is an authority on snow, and customizing tractors to deal with snow... firewood.. rocks... blackfly habitat....it's got to be Inno!!!
