A good show to do some woodworking... you didn't need a steam chest to bend stuff like rockers and plowhandles... just lay a piece of lumber on a saw horse and it would just droop sittin in the sunshine... the steam traction guys didn't mind. The weather was the same next to the boiler as it was under a tree.

The civil war battlefield was all about how the Yankees got beat so bad.... I think they forgot to take off their union suit... and they all just swet to death... or put their face infront of a cannon to catch a breeze

Tony, thank you for rolling all 4 days into one paragraph so I know what I missed out on. You better make plans now for Cedar Falls, Ia. August 18, 19 and 20th. Sammy is saving his money so he can come back. He is putting his money he never spent on cigarettes in a jar and I would like to see you do the same for what you don't spend on your cigarettes. If my surgeon wants to cut on me next year I will get hold of Joyce Sall and she will straighten him out.

Richard you'll be there I'm sure. You can get Tony straight on his Pipe Tobacco and Canadian Beer and see if he saved that money.

Tony, I used to smoke and I also did the pipe and I had a beautiful Meerschaum pirate face pipe but when some idiot broke into our house and took that pipe I quit the pipe. I had it for about three years and it had started to turn into a purplish hue and that ticked me off as I could not see how much prettier it could have become. Then it took me several years before I threw the cigarettes out the car window but when I did I never had another one. When the time comes you will also. Miner09, I can't tell Tony I actually saved my cigarette money, I don't know where it is but I never put it away like I have heard of others doing. Oh yes I am planning on being in Cedar Falls. Gary has a challenge and a prize for the person that makes the best Fergie bar stool. I think that is what he said. Since he did that I will have to come up with something also as he is giving a T shirt to the winner. I will have to probably add a cap for 2nd place and another one for third place. Hear that Tony?
