So? You didn't get enough abuse from the first fergie?? ooohhhh.
I forgot. What is a 'chicken coop' in Oz? A chook shed?
Start the Standard engine, get boiled eggs! Just like ol army jeep cartoons!
Yep, in the states, those army jeep looking front 'tyres' and that 1870's grain drill lookin' seat are worth more than the rest of the poor fergie...
Well.... just in time for Halloween....

Tony it is a chook shed :)

This tractor is another ted20, casting date 7/7/53, so same year as my other one...

Yep the front tyres are the motor cross tyres,,,, good enough for me.

Yep i like the seat it looks cool. I paid $650 for this beast, It is a tad rusty living near the coast, but hey its got a ROPS, and there worth $500.... and the good news this one aint seized, so should be pretty easier to fire up.....and i know what the hell i am doing this time round..

Check this out, this is madmax setup for a radiator.... I got the fergie radiator with it ( not original but after market, Its so lite compared to the original)

Chook shed. I knew that! Even a millennium later.. I remembered that!
So that's why the bonnet was tilted up.
So those aren't surplus Territorial Army ndt's?? those really are bike tyres? Not 16's tho??? so the 20" rims were cobbled to the fergie hubs? Whatever works eh. I see the two caps on the tank- one is petrol to start right? then paraffin once warmed up???
... bloody pommie technology...

Not sure about the front rims, they dont quiet look right but think they are the orignal rims. I have the old 19s off the other tractor so i ll need to check it all out...Yep two tank setup, it bloody handy as i use the small one as a reserve tank as i am on a hilly block..... ITs called TVO cannot remember what its stands for , not sure if its the same as paffin but you got the idea

deadset motor bike tyres, so i am gonna drop a 2 stroke in it so i can do wheelies in the fergy.

Yeah some old timer told me that guyd put moto tyres on the front as its a cheaper option

Hi Steve
Could you send me the simplified instructions that John UK was offering awhile back please .

Thanks Gary

Got the beast up and running yesterday, after having no spark and some rewiring and the points, well they where shot.

Now its purring like a tiger... with a slight knock coming from inside da motor, so looks like i need to go in for heart surgery ... then get onto the front pivot pin and straighten the radius arm just slightly :)

IT has one savage clutch, it grabs and sudders the whole tractor. No leaking oil from weep holes, so could be the flywheel?? IT makes a niose when you put you foot on the clutch, so recon some bearings need attention..

Happy Days 8)
