Is there a source for the Ferguson 40 front emblem? My friend just picked one up and is looking at a full restoration. It was a bamboo over grey metallic and will be again. Thanks

Yes you can buy the retainer ring new. About $100. Never seen the 40 or screen. May be able to find used one. I'll have to find the address.(NY-??)

So where did you - he- find a 40? I only know of one in Mass, one Conn, and one in New York- none will go for cheap if at all.

It was in Nassau, NY about 5 miles from my friends house. Running but with a head gasket leak to be tackled this winter. Someone previously
had painted her black and now needs the correct paint.

I have a friend in Rocky Oklahoma who has a complete sheet metal for an f-40 with th front emblem excluding the bottom chin. His name is Barry Diffendaffer. I could give you his contact info if anyone is interested. It is still in original paint.

make that 2 in ct. I am currently working on a single front end 40 high crop to go with the tricycle front end 40 high crop. I do have an extra 40 emblem w/broken ring if someone has to have one, talk price on pm.

Dang! Sounds like these 40's are growing on trees!!! This means there are more of them north of the Delaware River than there is in Miner's barn!!!
I wasn't even thinking of you guys, or John's, just loose ones I spotted over the years... so all together, at least 10 between New York and New England?
