TE20 oiling

After reading sever topics in several different forums, I'm pretty sure that someone on here will be able to answer my question. I am currently in the middle of a TE20 overhaul. While cleaning and checking parts I noticed that the oil return standpipe that extends down from the center main cap into the center of the oil filter was pretty rough. While deburring and cleaning, I noticed the pipe only had 1 metering hole in it. According to the manual, it is supposed to have 2 metering holes. After finding some other things that were not the way they should have been, I started thinking that maybe someone had made a replacement for the original and had only drilled one hole. I can drill the hole on through the pipe, but was curious as to what the correct size is for these holes. Since they are referred to in the manual as "metering holes", I figured that they should be a certain size to correctly "meter" the amount of oil they let thru. The hole that is in the tube is 3/32" diam. Does anyone know if this is the correct size?

(quoted from post at 18:27:55 09/26/16) 3/32" seems about right, but the tube only has one hole in it. The manual is incorrect.

Bill, Thanks for the info. That makes me feel a whole lot better. I guess I'm ready to start putting this thing back together now.

Thanks again for your help.
